Course overview of the course Ship Handling

Course contents

The course is divided into three parts:

• Manoeuvering with conventional supply vessels (2 days)
• Manoeuvering with azimuth thrusters (1.5 days)
• Manoeuvering with a joystick (0.5 days)

Practical content

All our courses provide practical and hands-on experience based on the knowledge and expertise of our instructors. As a trainee, you will gain an understanding and proficiency in practical ship handling on a Full Mission Simulator.

Certification and approval

The course is STCW compliant and approved. Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate will be issued by MIWB. All our simulators and the organisation are DNV approved.
