Creative Media Professional (AD)

Creative Media Professional (AD) course overview

The first year of the course mainly covers understanding and experiencing media. You learn about what the media world is like and how you can set up and run a project well. The second year covers entrepreneurship in the media world. You learn how to come up with new business ideas and develop them within your own company.

At the end of the second year, you get to choose between setting up your own company or gaining experience in an existing organisation. You close the year with a portfolio in which you demonstrate what you can do as a media professional.

Design-Based Education

With Design-Based Education (DBE), ideas are turned into practical solutions, often in an international context. You will work in small interdisciplinary groups on assignments from actual clients. This is the best way to prepare for your future field. DBE places a strong emphasis on the personal development of our students. Guided by the academic staff, students take charge of their own learning path, exchanging feedback with their peers, lecturers and experts from the field, developing their particular interests and working on interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
