What's in store for you
The Associate degree (AD) in Hotel Management is an international programme: the language of study is English and your fellow students come from all over the world. Over the space of two years, you will be introduced to aspects of hospitality management: gastronomy, catering, events, human resources, marketing, sales and finance. The programme takes you towards the supervisory level and after graduation, you will leave the Hotel Management School with a University of Applied Sciences diploma. You can choose whether you want to study Hotel Management AD in Leeuwarden or Emmen.
In Emmen, in our Stones restaurant (and other training companies in the area), or Leeuwarden, in our four-star Notiz hotel, you will work to develop your managerial qualities, but you will also learn to think at the supervisory level and do research. You will learn theory about, for example, marketing and finance, but you will also taste the most delicious wines during a wine class.
After the AD, you can continue your studies with the bachelor programme, which takes you another 2 years to complete.
