This Marketing Management degree brings together the latest trends and developments in online and offline marketing. The programme focuses on innovation, the world of the future, and how people work in modern-day marketing departments. You’ll develop your skills in listening closely to your customers and collecting and analysing the correct data and information. You’ll explore the different channels and forms of communication for reaching and connecting with your target audience and then create a strategy that builds the brand and strengthens customer loyalty. 

Marketing Management in practice   

You work on assignments from real companies in each year of the course, collaborating in small groups and drawing on the skills and experience of lecturers and professionals in marketing management. You could be, for instance, conducting international market research or developing marketing and communication strategies. This method of working (Design-Based Education) means you learn to draw on feedback to adapt your ideas and become more flexible, while also developing your teamwork and leadership skills. It means you get hands-on experience of what it’s like to research and understand a company’s business, its brands and its consumers and develop strategies to strengthen communications.  

Gain international experience  

Studying Marketing Management at NHL Stenden means spending part of your degree studying abroad. Our participation in RUN-EU means you can join Short Advanced Programmes and carry out projects with partner institutions in Europe. You can also go to one of the NHL Stenden’s Grand Tour locations in South Africa, Bali or Thailand. Or you can go on an exchange to a partner institution and delve into a totally new way of studying. With over 100 different minors on offer through NHL Stenden and held at locations all over the world, you're sure to find the perfect specialisation, whether it’s Entrepreneurship in the Netherlands or Integrated Digital Marketing in Thailand. 

You can also do your final-year internship abroad drawing from the experience you have gained during your studies. You could work for media companies such as Australian Superyachts, Douwe Egberts, Holland Trading Group or Excellent Uitzendbureau on Curaçao. And if you’ve already turned your dream for your own business into a reality, you could consider doing your internship in your own start-up.
