Marketing in the Asian business world

Would you like to work as a marketing manager for an international trade organisation? Then it is important to be able to recognise and resolve the problems and challenges that arise when doing business internationally. You also need to understand subjects such as marketing, market research, cross-cultural management and international business. 

In this minor, you will explore the Asian business world and gain knowledge and skills that you can put to good use in the international marketing world. The first part of the minor takes place in Bangkok and the second part in Bali.

  • Gain experience in doing business in Asia, a fast-growing sales market.
  • Put theory into practice in business cases and during excursions.
  • In the first part of the minor, you will learn about international business in Bangkok and its many multinationals.
  • If you take the second part of the minor, you will work on a marketing plan for a real company in Bali.

The minor consists of two parts each worth 15 ECTS credits and is offered in English in Thailand and Bali. The course concludes with marketing plans, a marketing research assignment, presentation, and a portfolio of your personal development.
