Old bones meet new technology - by paleontologist Anne Schulp

Anne Schulp is a researcher at Naturalis and professor of vertebrate palaeontology at Utrecht University. As a dinosaur researcher, Anne is often found at an excavation. Yet, that is only a small part of his work as a paleontologist. "Ultimately, it's about the story behind the bones – and that's only discovered in the lab, or behind the computer." In his keynote, Anne Schulp takes you through his work as a paleontologist, and shows how you can use the latest technical innovations to bring extinct animals, which have been gone for millions of years, a little bit back to life.

This keynote will be in English.
