Minor content

During this second part of the minor, you expand the knowledge and skills of part 1 with building web applications and with background knowledge. Part 2 examines the context of programming, such as ethics, artificial intelligence and security. You conclude it with your own web project.

Structure of the minor

The minor covers 420 SBU = 15 EC. Within this module, work is done on competences related to the analysis, design and realization of applications. This is in line with the competences as described in the Dutch HBO-I domain. We work individually and in groups. Lessons and studio are completely online.

This minor also examines the personal learning style and development within this field. Questions such as: What have you learned? But also: How would you later be able to apply programming within your own study and expertise?

Examination

During the minor, an own innovative concept for an interactive website or web service is systematically developed. On the basis of the project plan, the end product and a logbook, an assessment is used to check whether the competences have been achieved.

Admission requirements

The minor is open to every HBO student who has successfully completed the minor Creative Programming 1.
