Minor content
The minor will discuss identity, self-awareness and help you understand how your personal experiences and group memberships have formed you. From this starting point, you will discover the role of biases, prejudice and stereotyping. By learning to look at things from different perspectives and by empathising with others, you become aware of our own personal biases and how to overcome them. Here is where you learn what diversity and inclusion is and how it impacts you and your position in society. Through exploring the concepts of resistance, agency and deep democracy, the minor aims to contribute to a better world.
