Modern ships rely on a large number of electrical and control systems. A modern engineer or maritime officer must be able to do maintenance and repairs on these systems to ensure the safety and economic performance of the ship. This course will help you to refresh your ability and understanding performing this job.
The duration of the course is 5 days. The course takes place from Monday 8.30am until Friday 11.30am. In consultation, we can customise the course to specific needs. The course is on request and is done in groups of between 4 and 12 trainees.
To apply you need a Certificate of Competency (a seafarer’s license) as an engineer or maritime officer or a similar level certificate.
The course fee is €1.245 (exempt from VAT) including lunch, coffee, and tea, excluding travel and subsistence expenses.
