Hossein Rahmani holds a master in Mechanical Engineering (University of Tabriz, Iran) and a Bachelor of Mechanical engineering (Shahrood University of Technology, Iran).
“During my master, I focused on Intelligent Control System using Neural Networks which got me to think about changing my major to Computer Science. After passing several online courses in this field and after finishing some projects in the field of Image Analysis using deep learning techniques, I joined Computer Vision and Data Science group at NHL Stenden.”

“It is fascinating that a Computer can learn itself by receiving information from the area around it and in some cases, its performance is much better than human. Currently, I am working on Deep Reinforcement Learning to train a robotic system to do specific tasks by choosing the best policy among all possible ones by getting raw images from its environment.”
