
After earning her teaching degree in 1983, Arda Oosterhof went to work as a special education teacher. Going on to complete a degree in Social Sciences (Educational Theory) at the Open University, she set up a consultancy firm in 1995 where she develops educational projects for various educational institutions.
Since 2005, she has been working as a Lecturer in Educational Theory/Educational Science and as a Lecturer in Research at NHL Stenden’s teacher training college in Assen. Ms Oosterhof is researching how teachers in lower primary school deal with the environmental influences that prevent them from working based on their own vision.
