Gerard Schepers has been lector in Wind Power at the NHL University of Applied Sciences since January 2012.

Gerard Schepers (1959) graduated from Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. His research was on shock wave/boundary layer interactions in wind tunnels. He then joined the staff of the Wind Power department of the Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN) as a researcher and coordinator of numerous large national and international projects.

Since January 2012, Schepers has worked at the NHL for two days a week as lector in Wind Power. In November 2012, he gained a PhD from Delft University of Technology, with a thesis on developments over the last 25 years in the field of ‘engineering models’ for wind power aerodynamics.
