
James (Jim) Slevin studied Geography at Nijmegen University and earned a PhD in Social and Political Sciences from King’s College, University of Cambridge. He has been a lecturer in Corporate Communications at the University of Amsterdam since 1996 and also serves as a senior member of King’s College and was Professor of Internet, Organizations and Society at Roskilde University until 2011.
Dr Slevin is the author of the book The Internet and Society, published by Polity in 2000. He recently conducted research into the internet and communication from an interactional perspective and has been the Professor of Applied Sciences in the Department of Organizations and Social Media since 2011.
