
Annemieke Zwart, researcher, has been working within the Healthcare & Innovation in Psychiatry professorship since 2015, where she focuses on the effectiveness of serious gaming.
Annemieke Zwart studied Nursing at the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences. She graduated as a Community Psychiatric Nurse in 2007, and as a Specialist Mental Health Nurse from the Stichting GGZ VS in Utrecht in 2015.
Annemieke has a lot of work experience as a nurse within various teams for GGZ Friesland, the organization for mental healthcare in Friesland. Since 2015, she has worked as a Specialist Mental Health Nurse within the Early Psychosis Intervention (VIP, Vroegtijdig Interventieteam Psychose) team, which treats patients experiencing the symptoms of psychosis for the first time. In addition, the team identifies patients who are at an increased risk of developing psychotic or other psychiatric disorders, and offers preventive care that aims to normalize their experiences and prevent a breakdown in functioning.
