Gert Veenhoven is currently (since 2021) holding a position as lecturer and researcher Serious Gaming at the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, with a focus on PPO coaching. He started his career as a systems designer at the Ministry of Defense. In 1996 he started at Avery Dennisson to deepen his knowledge of ERP systems and Supply Chain Management. In 2001 he continued his career with British American Tobacco. In addition to ICT and Supply Chain positions, he also fulfilled the role of Operational Excellence program manager. In this role, a lot of change management knowledge came together, and he was able to make connections between systems, processes, and people in organizations.

Starting in 2008 Gert worked for several years at a European level to share his knowledge and change management experience across factories in Western Europe. From 2010 he started working as an independent consultant and contributed to transitions in organizations, especially at the intersection of people, development, and ICT. In 2020, to expand his change management knowledge and experience, he completed the NHL Stenden's master's degree in Serious Gaming.
