
Johan Kasper graduated with a degree in City Planning from Groningen University and a PhD in Regional Learning Networks from Open University. He is currently a lecturer and researcher in Tourism and Leisure at Stenden University of Applied Sciences and a Scenario Planning researcher at the European Tourism Futures Institute. Having been a member of our Department since 2009, he researches what prerequisites are relevant to sustainable knowledge sharing and cooperation between various parties at the local and regional levels. Projects in which he has participated include Naoberschap 2.0, for which he served as a project coordinator. In this project, various regional parties representing a variety of professional fields and disciplines joined forces to investigate how they could work together and share knowledge on a sustainable basis.
