Martine Bootsma studied Educational Science with a minor in Journalism. In addition to working as a psychiatric nurse and a teacher/trainer in healthcare, she also wrote and developed educational materials for various nursing and social work programmes. She also ran her own business as a copywriter, journalist and project manager. Ms Bootsma joined the staff of Stenden University of Applied Sciences in 2009, where she currently teaches research skills to Creative Therapy students and coordinates the thesis process. Her research focuses on practical research methods.
