Mr Luimstra completed several courses, including Leisure Management at Christelijke Hogeschool Noord Nederland (currently Stenden University of Applied Sciences) and the Sports Academy in Groningen. He is currently enrolled in a course for education professionals at Cinop, an educational consultancy. In addition, he also works as a policy adviser for the City of Emmen and as a lecturer in Physical Rehabilitation and Educational Innovation at Drenthe College. He has been a guest member of our Research Group since 2014; his field of research is informal learning between professionals and residents.
