Gaining knowledge regarding responsibilities, job content and management tasks of an F&B manager, learns the use of applicable management techniques and modern information systems applicable to the F&B department, result driven and accountable entrepreneurship with regards to various F&B concepts and F&B outlets. Adequate product knowledge and knowledge of current trends in F&B, recognizing restaurant concepts and sociological perspectives on food and eating behavior, knowledge of international rules and regulations with respect to government and safety and security within a catering organization, extended knowledge of beverages, especially wines.

  • Gaining insight in the knowledge of wines with the help of tastings and wine classes (SDEN 2) 
  • Field trips on demand, for example to Hanos and the Bols Academy in Amsterdam.
