Need help deciding what kind of university is right for you?  

Choosing the right degree isn’t just a question of choosing what subject to study, in the Netherlands you also get to choose what way of learning suits you best. Basically, so you can get the best out of your studies. For both bachelor's and master's degree, you can opt to attend either a university of applied sciences or a research university. Find out what the differences are here. 

If you’re a hands-on kind of person and like to learn by working in teams on assignments, then a university of applied sciences is probably more your thing. If diving into research and exploring theory and applying it to abstract questions is more up your street, then you should explore what research universities offer.
