NHL Stenden library raises €1,147.20 for the Stand Up for Children Foundation
The book sale organised by the NHL Stenden library in December to raise funds for Familiediner van Stichting Sta op voor Kinderen proved to be a great success.
From 2 to 4 December 2025, many students and lecturers visited the university libraries in Leeuwarden and Emmen. Plenty of books were purchased during the sale. Thanks to this enthusiastic participation, a wonderful amount of € 1.147,20 was raised.
On Wednesday 29 January 2026, the NHL Stenden library officially presented the cheque to the Stichting Sta op voor Kinderen. This contribution will enable the foundation to continue its valuable work.
The NHL Stenden library would like to thank all students and staff who contributed to this wonderful result. Together, we made it a successful campaign!
