  • International Open Access Week 2025

    International Open Access Week 2025 will be held from October 20–26, with the goal of increasing the use and publication of open access scientific information.

  • Relocation of Groningen Library

  • Book sale 2-3 December

    Book sale for charity! On December 2 and 3, we are hosting a book sale for charity, Amara. The book sale will take place at the library on R8.

    A great opportunity to score a good book for Sinterklaas, Christmas or perhaps to enjoy reading yourself during the Christmas holidays. 1 book for only 1 euro!

    Would you like to donate books? We would be grateful! Bring them to our library at Rengerslaan 8 or to the Green Office at Rengerslaan 10 before 28 November.

  • No borrowing for a while

    From 9 to 13 December, we switch to a brand new library system. Unfortunately, no materials can be borrowed during this week. 

  • Fine-free week 25-29 November

    Do you still have a stack of borrowed books at home? Then turn them in during this week with no fines! A great opportunity to clean up your account before the new library system kicks in.

    NHL Stenden Library has a subscription to the Keuzegids HBO (Dutch). The Keuzegids HBO 2025 is now online.
