At times, personal circumstances can affect the progress of your studies or can even lead to delays in your study. It may be that studying is proving difficult or you're dealing with an illness or difficult family circumstances. Or maybe you have a specific difficulty or disability or play elite sports and need provisions or adaptations so as to be able to combine your studies with your personal circumstances. If you have questions about how you can deal with your personal circumstances, or what the financial consequences could be, then make sure you reach out and talk about your options with a student counsellor. Don’t bottle things up, but make an appointment for a confidential conversation with a student counsellor.
Do you need support with your studies? Contact the student counsellor. They'll work with you to find out what's needed to keep you going.
A disability or learning impairment could mean you face extra challenges while studying and you may need additional services or extra time. A student counsellor can help you organise this.
The Student Success Centre provides inspiration and support to help you reach your full potential. Through free training courses and workshops you can learn more about studying more effectively, and work on your personal development and well-being. The training courses and workshops are for your personal benefit and you do them as extras alongside your studies. There’s a wide variety of training courses available and the choice varies per semester.
You can only register if you are a student at NHL Stenden.
