Get involved with activities outside your studies and develop your interests and talents – or discover a hidden passion. At NHL Stenden, you’re encouraged to explore beyond your studies, whether this means taking a minor subject not directly related to your course programme or setting up your own company, volunteering for a student association or working as a student ambassador for your degree programme. There are many, many ways you can develop your skills, gain experience and simply add an extra dimension to your student life.

  • Study at a European University and take part in one of the mobility opportunities offered by RUN-EU

  • Take a minor subject abroad and either go on Grand Tour to Indonesia, South Africa or Thailand, or to Aruba or Italy, or go on exchange to one of the 150 partner universities we have around the globe

  • Give yourself an extra challenge with the X-Honours programme

  • Get help starting up your own business while you study with the Center for Entrepreneurship

  • Visit one of our partner universities during the summer break and join a summer school programme to develop your knowledge and skills in a specific area

  • Get involved with a student association or join a student council

  • Get help with study skills, work on personal development or learn a new skill for life and take a student training course
