Explore sustainable and regenerative tourism in destination management through our 9-week minor program. With a spotlight on island destinations, we explore the dynamic relationship of the visitor economy, highlighting the need to balance economic benefits with cultural and ecological preservation. Throughout the program, we encourage critical self-reflection on your role in fostering positive changes within the tourism industry. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), we highlight the global significance of tourism in achieving these milestones, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the broader context of sustainable and regenerative development. Recognising the influence of diverse stakeholders, from local communities to international bodies, we equip you with practical skills grounded in design thinking principles.
