This minor approaches entrepreneurship as a set of skills. Working in today's fast-paced world requires flexibility, innovation and proactivity. Any successful company understands that innovation is the key to its survival in an uber-competitive market. Entrepreneurs naturally develops soft skills that employers are desperately looking for right now, as they scout to find the next generation of successful leaders at their organizations.
In the minor Entrepreneurship in Action, you will be challenged to learn and explore business skills, understanding the business model, marketing and communication, funding plan, finance, etc. Moreover, you will also participate in a self-development programme, from communication skills to character building, combined with leadership classes and communication classes.
This minor is offered by Entrepreneurship & Retail Management.
Structure of the minor
Business plan, human resources management for startup, marketing and sales for startup, budgeting and getting funding, financial statements and legal aspects for startup in Indonesia/Bali. Urban safari is required for students to validate their project’s target.
- Unit 2: Entrepreneur’s Soft Skills (3 EC)
Behavioral, psychological and communication aspects of entrepreneurship. Business pitching, Elevator pitching, networking, Growth mindset and business negotiation will be offered in this module.
Students Led Seminar (SLS) and Startup Week will be offered. The aim of this unit is to improve your critical thinking, practice creativity in business, receive feedback and give feedback to your peers.
