Minor content

Wildlife management offers a truly life-changing experience... The minor aims to develop your understanding and appreciations of the natural elements. You will learn about conservation of nature and natural resources and how to apply basic conservation principles to various (wildlife) operations.  

This minor is offered by the study program Hotel Management.

 

Structure of the minor

In this minor you will study with students from many different programs who all have one thing in common: a passion for wildlife and conservation and a desire to learn how to incorporate conservation principles in their future career. This minor consists of lectures, DBE cases, workshops and excursions that all focus on the Wildlife industry mainly in South Africa. It further investigates conservation practices from around the world.
