Final thesis student Ocean Technology published in Hydro International Magazine

Richard Snijder graduated from the Ocean Technology program at Maritime Institute Willem Barentsz. He did his graduation research on behalf of the Royal Netherlands Navy, partly facilitated by QPS – Maritime Software Solutions.

His research was about “the use of machine learning to produce an autonomous feature detection chain” and has now been published in Hydro International Magazine, the platform for professional hydrographers.
