Statement on the war in Ukraine

We are shocked by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and sympathise with all students, staff and families who are affected. We strongly condemn the use of force and the current violence resulting from it. We understand this is a difficult time for students, staff and their families and we stand with them in support.

"What is happening right now in Ukraine is terrible, and we deeply sympathise with everyone impacted by this horrific situation. We will be doing all we can to help our students and staff," says Erica Schaper

We keep in close contact with our Ukrainian and Russian students and staff. Student Info is present on campus to offer assistance to students, and can also be contacted by email, phone, and Whatsapp. Staff can contact their team leader for more information and support.

Respect

It is imaginable that the war could lead to tensions on campus and in the classroom. It is important that our university remains a safe study and work environment for all students and staff. As such, we want to ask all to remain respectful to each other.
