The number of students in Leeuwarden has increased again

The number of students who choose to study in Leeuwarden has increased again this year. NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences saw the number of students grow by 3 per cent. Van Hall Larenstein grew by 6.9 per cent and the number of first-year students at UG Campus Fryslân doubled.

Last year, the number of new registrations at NHL Stenden grew by 9 per cent. "The Creative Business, Pedagogy and Integral Safety study programmes are growing tremendously at NHL Stenden," says spokesperson Ria Oekas. It is also noticeable that the number of international students continues to grow.
