Within the research group European Transformative Futures Institute (ETFI), NHL Stenden focuses on current issues arising from regional practice. Research addresses, among other things, the future of leisure, tourism and hospitality, the sustainability of these sectors, changing perceptions and forms of hospitality, and the development of attractive and future-proof regions. The knowledge developed here can be applied to challenges both nationally and internationally.
