How can media concepts positively influence the behaviour of recipients? In a world where organisations, whether under pressure from important stakeholders or not, are taking more and more responsibility for their impact on people, the environment and society, this question is becoming increasingly important. Hans Jacob's research, in collaboration with Dr Harms, focuses specifically on developing tools to identify relevant target group insights to shape impactful media concepts. 

Hans Jacob de Gier (1978) has been working as a teacher-researcher at the Transformational Media chair since 2022. After studying Mediated Communications, he worked as an innovation marketer in the media industry, where he led several change projects. Since 2018, he is a senior lecturer at the master Content and Media Strategy, specialising in content strategy and content implementation.

Professorship
