
Dr Oenema-Mostert has been a Professor of Applied Sciences in the Department of Early Childhood Studies since 2012. She holds a degree in Educational Psychology from Groningen University and earned her PhD in Social Sciences in 2006, having written her thesis on ‘Home Support by an Educational Psychologist for Families with Young, Chronically Ill Children’.
She has been a Lecturer in Educational Psychology at Groningen University since 2006 and has also supervised several PhD theses. Since 2009, she has been working as a member of staff at the University Ambulatory Groningen of Pedagogy and Education on integrating clinical skills in education. Dr Oenema-Mostert is an expert on the correlation between scientific and clinical insights into the development of young children in their environment and has extensive experience in developing curricula.
Inauguration speech
Dr Oenema-Mostert delivered an inauguration speech when she was inaugurated as a Professor of Applied Sciences in 2012.
