Vera Hermes has been working as a lecturer-researcher at NHL Stenden since 2022. In the bachelor's program in Communication and the associate degree program in Online Content Creation, she teaches subjects such as social psychology and behavior change.
She graduated from the University of Groningen, where she obtained a master's degree in Applied Social Psychology. Before that, she completed a degree in Applied Psychology at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen.
Vera is part of the research group Transformational Media, where she collaborates with Wiebren Jansen on the Fix It project. This project investigates how media and content can be used to promote the influx and retention of women in the IT sector.
