When you’re unconventional, curious or determined, then you’re not one for just colouring inside the lines. And that’s a good thing! Lines and frameworks just keep things small. Our orignals think bigger. And that’s exactly what we’re showing in our new Originals Unboxed campaign.

Why?

Our originals dare to challenge, stand out and own their space. That’s why you see them in this campaign literally rise above our campuses in Leeuwarden, Groningen, Emmen, Meppel, Assen, Terschelling and Amsterdam. They’re simply too big for boundaries. And too big to be restricted by buildings. We show what happens when talent gets the space to grow. Because a single original can make a whole street of people turn their heads, bring change to an industry and can even change the world.

What is Fake Out Of Home?

Is that really a gigantic student rising up above the campus? How did they do that? That’s exactly what makes Fake Out Of Home so strong. It stops you scrolling, makes you take a second look and becomes the topic of conversation.

Fake Out Of Home is a way of storytelling that combines real images with computer-generated imagery. It creates content that feels just real enough to make you question it. Large international brands use the technique, but we’re using it to tell a story about our originals that don’t colour inside the lines. 

Nearly everything you see in this campaign is real. The students are real. The streets, the buildings, the campuses: they’re all real. It’s just the scale that’s different. We totally let go of that.
