Kyra says that the minors really impacted and changed her life personally and professionally, and this how a typical day of her journey looked like.
“My Grand Tour experience was wonderful. I learned so much about culture, freedom, life and purpose of life. For me, the biggest impact was Bali. The minor is full of inspiration, personal well-being, and personal development. On average I got up at around 08:30 to have breakfast in the hotel (mostly watermelon, eggs and some other fruits), afterwards we got picked up with a minivan to go to class. We always started class with a short meditation and a checking based on our emotions that day. This was followed by a workshop based on topics such as emotional intelligence, empathy, meditation or neuroscience. Everything with the aim to create a mindful leader. Sometimes we had guest lectures to tell even more inspirational stories. After a long day in class, we either spend the rest of the afternoon at the pool or enjoyed some surfing at the beach. All in all, it was a wonderful experience of gaining knowledge in an environment where most people simply spend their holidays.”
