Students are encouraged to find a preferred host organization during IR1 or even earlier with the support of Stenden Thailand team. Findings on multiculturalism, racial, religious, educational, cultural, economic and linguistic diversity and the history and development will inform possibilities for solving the existing issues in sectors of health care, modern slavery and human trafficking, education, refugees, aging society, child labor, gender equality, poverty and more.

Apart from writing a strategical marketing plan based on desk and field research, you and your fellow students are responsible for organizing sport clinics, like water polo, wheelchair basketball or lacrosse.
For fieldtrips/excursions a personal contribution of approximately 50 euros is needed. Additionally, the course for Fitness Trainer A at Bewegingscentrum in Leeuwarden also requires an additional fee of around 350 euros.
