Cabinet announces plans for student finance 2023

The cabinet wants to reintroduce the basic grant for students in HBO and university from academic year 2023-2024. But there are more plans. These include a temporary purchasing power compensation, increased student eligibility for the supplementary grant and a financial allowance for students who studied between 2015 and 2023.

Not yet finalised

The plans are not yet finalised, as the Dutch Senate has yet to vote on them. That is likely to happen in July.
