NHL Stenden gains international recognition for two academic journals

Two academic journals from NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences have been included in the 2025 Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal Quality List. A strong step that shows the growing international recognition of NHL Stenden’s research.

Step forward for Journal of Tourism Futures

The 'Journal of Tourism Futures' has moved up from a C to a B ranking. This reflects its growing influence within international tourism research. The journal focuses on developments and key questions around the future of tourism.

Ian Yeoman, Professor of Disruption, Innovation & New Phenomena at NHL Stenden and involved in both journals, says: “We are proud of this recognition. It confirms the quality and international relevance of our research and our journals.”

First listing for Research in Hospitality Management

'Research in Hospitality Management' has also been included in the ABDC list for the first time, with a C ranking. An important step for the journal, increasing its visibility within international research networks.
