Abram Kleijweg - Lecturer Researcher

Abram Kleijweg has been working at NHL Stenden Hogeschool since 2011, as a lecturer-researcher. He has been working for the NHL Stenden Creative Business program over the past four years. At Creative Business, Abram generally coaches students in the second, third and fourth year, mostly focusing on media management and innovation. Abram also chairs the test committee and is a member of the examination committee.

As of 2020, Abram had the opportunity to coach several students that were working on projects for the Professorship Organisations and Social Media. For example, the Parents of YouTube project, in which the ultimate goal was to produce a magazine for young children between the ages of 8 and 12. Abram has also written a paper together with Deike Schulz, PhD: “Co-creating online research methods during COVID-19: Using Teams and Padlet to co-create a codebook for online content analysis”.

Additionally, he was involved in organizing a group discussion on social media ethics during the first European Influencers Academy ‘Swipe Up Week’. In the near future, Abram wants to focus his research efforts on knowledge sharing within online communities as well as into the subject of ‘About Us’ pages, and explore the possibilities for starting a PhD.
