People from the country will certainly appreciate it if you are able to hold a simple conversation in their language.

During this course you will learn to understand and hold simple daily conversations in Spanish. All essential skills to learn a language will be practiced: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Because the focus of the course is based on Speaking and Listening, only essential grammar will be taught.  In addition, attention will be paid to culture, country, history, tourism etc. After this course it is possible to do a follow up course.

What Spanish 2 for beginners offers?

The course starts if there are enough participants. At the end of the course the student will be able to understand simple daily conversation in Spanish. The student will get a good passive understanding of the Spanish language.

ECS

If your institute gives permission to this course (please have yourself well informed before you start your course), it can be validated with 1 EC. You need to be present for at least 80% of the classes (and show active participation) and pass the final test.

Goal

At the end of the course you will be able to hold simple conversations and communicate in Spanish. You will learn how to talk about yourself and your family; to order food in a restaurant; go shopping; ask for directions - and more. You will practice reading for information, listening for detail and writing simple sentences in Spanish.

  • The end level will be (on your way to) CEFR level A2.
