Creative Business alum

“When I started my job, people were genuinely surprised by what I was able to do as a fresh graduate. I was already comfortable working on projects, communicating with teams, and taking initiative. And I knew how to manage my time and energy and switch focus quickly to match priorities. I'm Digital Creative Lead at Nova Broadcasting Group, one of the largest media groups in Southeastern Europe. I'm responsible for shaping how our content looks and performs across digital platforms. Part of my role is about improving efficiency in the creative process, and working with different departments on strategy, campaigns and product development.”

Where growth happens

“I've always enjoyed being creative in some way or form. When I was deciding what to study, I felt stuck between many different interests and couldn't see myself choosing only one. Creative Business stood out because it felt like the perfect mix of media, creativity and business and gave me the freedom to explore different industries. I did a music business minor, joined the European Influencers Academy and travelled. Travelling was actually a big part of my student life and gave me the chance to meet people from different cultures, exchange ideas and grow both personally and professionally. I also worked as head of marketing for the student council. It was a very hands-on role organising events, working on initiatives to improve student life and communicating directly with management about student needs. It really shaped the way I think about responsibility, teamwork and leadership. I still think about that time a lot and honestly miss it every day.”

Ready for a fast-paced industry

“One thing about my degree that unexpectedly helped me a lot was constantly working under pressure.  The environment I work in now is very dynamic and fast-paced, with tight deadlines and things changing quickly. As a student, I often found myself finishing projects close to the deadline, which forced me to think fast, prioritise, and deliver results efficiently. At the time, it felt stressful, but looking back, it prepared me really well for the media industry.”
