Professor Ian Yeoman ranked among world’s top 2% scientists by Stanford University

Professor Ian Yeoman has been recognised as one of the top scientists globally by Stanford University and Elsevier. Ian works as a professor at the professorship 'Disruption, Innovation and New Phenomena' of Hotel Management School Leeuwarden and is ranked in the top 2% of all scientists across all fields. Additionally, in the specific domain of sport, leisure, hospitality, and tourism, he is ranked within the top 3% of researchers. This significant achievement is based predominantly on his influential research publications and citations, underscoring the profound impact of his work.

As the first scenario planner in tourism at VisitScotland, Yeoman investigates how technological advancements, climate change, and other external factors affect the sector.
