Chinese for beginners

This course offers an introduction to the fundamentals of Mandarin Chinese, with a focus on the day-to-day communication skills in speaking and listening. Both Pinyin (Chinese phonetic writing system) and Chinese characters are used throughout the course, which is needed to acquire the ability to read and write Chinese characters at a basic level (CEFR A1). Besides the above-mentioned language skills, Chinese culture related topics will be incorporated in the course.

What to expect?

This short course is available for everyone who wants to learn the basics of the Chinese language. The course ends with a written and oral test. If you pass this test you will receive a Certificate of CEFR A1 level.
