French for beginners
During this course you will learn to understand and hold simple daily conversations in French. All essential skills to learn a language will be practiced: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Because the focus of the course is based on Speaking and Listening, only essential grammar will be taught.
In addition, attention will be paid to culture, country, history, tourism etc. After this course it is possible to do a follow up course.
Overview
Goal
At the end of the course you will be able to hold simple conversations and communicate in French. You will learn how to talk about yourself and your family; to order food in a restaurant; go shopping; ask for directions - and more. You will practice reading for information, listening for detail and writing simple sentences in French.
For whom
For everyone who would like to start learning the French language. You don’t need knowledge of the French language.
Elective credits
If your institute approves obtaining Elective Credits/Activities for the course, the Language Centre will sign the document delivered by the student. You need to be present for at least 80% of the classes (and show active participation) and pass the tests.
