Certification

If you complete the course successfully, you will receive a microcredential. A microcredential (MC) is a type of micro-diploma, a recognized and digitally shareable certificate. With a microcredential (MC), you can demonstrate to your (future) employer what knowledge and skills you possess and at which NLQF level. Furthermore, you can use a microcredential to apply for an exemption should you decide to pursue a full degree program (associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s). You can also earn microcredentials at various universities of applied sciences and build up your resume.

The MC provides independent recognition of a smaller module (at NHL Stenden, this ranges from 3 to 30 EC). The microcredential represents accredited education and serves as a mark of quality. The module is designed so that you and your (future) employer can be confident that the learning outcomes will be achieved. The learning outcomes are traceable and verifiable. You can find more information about microcredentials on the Lifelong Learning website: Microcredentials | NHL Stenden
