Social Dutch for Beginners 1 (A0-<A1)

Are you in the Netherlands to study, work or stay here for another reason? Whatever your situation is, it is useful and important to know the basics of the Dutch language. Dutch people greatly appreciate it when you try to speak their language. With this course, you are already 1-0 ahead!

In this course, you will learn the basics of the Dutch language, with a strong emphasis on fluency. You will learn how to have simple conversations with friends, ask for directions, and navigate your way through a supermarket. Besides speaking, we also pay attention to listening, reading and writing, but the focus is on speaking and listening.

You are introduced to the basic grammar of Dutch, without diving too deeply into the rules. Moreover, you will learn about Dutch culture, customs, people, geography and history.
