Nice that you are interested in the Hayo Apotheker Incentive Fund (HAF). We will take you on a journey through 7 fun events where you will work together to make your company even stronger.

- Get inspired with ideas from other businesses
- Get to know your community and meet the people you'll be journeying with. And we’ll lead an introductory activity using BrainFuel, so that everyone gets to know each other.

- Collect business ideas on a beer mat
During this two-day workshop, we will engage in various group activities, and the programme will include the following workshops:
- Workshop: problem-solution fit
Who’s your customer, what’s the problem, what’s happening with the target group and what’s the solution? During this event, you’ll work on finding out who your customers are. What problems or social problems have you spotted and what do you want to resolve through your business so as to create value? We’ll work on this by looking into what the issues are for various target groups. Once we’ve carefully formulated the problem, we’ll think about the different options for solving it.
- Prototyping
The last session got you creating your business model and so as to ensure you don’t invest unnecessary time and money in a business model that doesn’t work out, we’ll work on prototypes in this session. What assumptions do you make in your business model. And how can you find out if these assumptions are actually true (or not)?
- Business Model Workshop
You’ll work on creating a business model for the solution you came up with during the last event for your target group. During the business model workshop, you’ll think about what your business will be like, what value you’ll create, for who, how you can reach this target group, and who you need to be able to create this value.
Once you’ve created your business model, it’s time to get on the infamous soapbox and announce your ideas to the others. To get you ready, you’ll get a workshop in strong pitches from an expert.
In this session, you will be provided with all the latest essentials to make your business a success. You will learn how to calculate the cost price of your product or service and be given tools to conduct sales conversations with your (potential) target group.
During the Pitch Day, you’ll present your business to an official jury. And you’ll get to give them an impression of what you’ve learnt from the Hayo Apotheker Incentive Fund.
Impress them and, who knows, you might be selected as one of the 3 finalists going on to the Grand Finale to win one of the 3 top prizes. Remember, the first prize is for €2,500!
During the final event, you’ll present your business to the official kick-start team, guest entrepreneurs and, of course, family or friends you invite to the occasion. The jury includes our chair Hayo Apotheker, ex-mayor of Leeuwarden and ex-member of the NHL Stenden Executive Board, the man the fund is named after.
Impress then and go for the win! You might just walk away with the €2,500 first prize!
Walk-in consultations
We hold general weekly consultations and as they’re hybrid, you can follow them in person or online. The consultations aren’t compulsory but are interesting and complement the events on the trail.
