Minor content
- Students will be able to participate in professional discussions on inclusive education by gaining knowledge about the history of special education and inclusive education in different countries;
- gaining experience in planning, implementing and assessing education that fosters inclusion and;
- gaining knowledge about different learning needs of children.
Knowledge and experience built during this minor will give students the opportunity to develop confidence in providing suitable education to all children in a classroom. The minor will have theoretical and practical components. Students will engage in discussion and reflection, active application of theory in practice, develop personal views and practical skills in order to provide and promote inclusive education in international schools.
This minor is offered by International Teacher Education for Primary Schools (ITEps).
