
The fifth SDG focuses on Gender Equality and relates principally to remuneration for work, labour participation and the position of men and women in business and management. Another specific goal is the reduction of violence against women. At NHL Stenden we focus on these issues in various ways.
We want to be an inclusive institution where everyone feels welcome and at home, which is why we must do our best to create an inclusive work and study environment. The IDARE (Inclusion, Diversity, Anti Racism and Equity) working group plays a key role in keeping us on our toes regarding these issues.

IDARE
The IDARE working group was set up to promote an inclusive learning and work environment in which everyone feels they are treated equally, respect is par for the course and diversity is embraced. This group consists of students and member of staff from the teaching faculty and support departments.
